The Marder III tank destroyer fought on many fronts of World War II. Until the introduction of 88mm cannons, it was a very dangerous anti-tank weapon. The Sd.Kfz. 139 design was based on the Panzer 38(t) chassis. The main armament was a modified Soviet cannon, adapted to German shells - 7.62 cm PaK 36(r).
MARDER III with the basic German 5cm Pak 38 cannon included in the set was developed in a 1:35 scale matching the figures and consists of 486 construction blocks. There are no stickers here, we only use high-quality, durable prints. The model's functionalities include working traction caterpillar, rotating wheels, space for a figure in the fighting compartment and a movable cannon.
The set also includes a road sign inspired by historical photos with the name of the town of El Alemein, in the vicinity of which two key battles of the campaign in Africa took place. The figures represent a German mechanic and an artilleryman. The set was developed with attention to detail and is also a great extension of the popular Historical Collection! Fans of history and blocks will find something for themselves here!
